Three Sisters Swamp
These photos are from a recent scouting trip to the Three Sisters Swamp on the Black River in coastal North Carolina. The Swamp is home to the oldest Cypress Trees in the world, many over 1000 years, and the oldest over 2600 years, and is protected by the Nature Conservancy. It's a magically Jurassic place where you expect to see a Pterodactyl fly over at any moment. Thanks to Don Hall of Mahamain Adventures for a great trip!
