At the beginning of each new year, I review my images made in the previous year to relive the joy I experienced in making those images, analyze the work for what I liked and what worked, and think about what I want to do more of or differently in the new year. From that review I select my top 25 favorites which are included in the portfolio below.

So, what makes a “Top 25 favorite” out of the thousands of images that I made last year? In hindsight, these represent photos that I really like and really enjoyed the experience of making the image. The list of favorites initially included hundreds of images, the making of which was joyful. The ones that made the final cut were the strongest of that initial selection and minimized repetition. It was painful to reject so many photos. But there could only be 25. Enjoy!
