The San Juan Islands - Crown Jewels of the Salish Sea
The San Juan Islands were the first place I visited when I moved to the Pacific Northwest in 1979, and they've been very special to me ever since. I visited often and finally moved to San Juan Island in 1998, and remained there until moving to Anacortes in 2018, where the ferry to the Islands docks. The images in this portfolio are some of my favorites made over a 25 year period. I hope to continue photographing the San Juans and the surrounding Salish Sea for a long time to come.
